The end times message of the Bible paints a beautiful picture of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, this message has been largely perverted by conspiracy theories and self-serving agendas. What was intended to bring light and hope to our lives has become a scary topic filled with demons, plagues, and darkness. While these elements are part of this world's future, they are not part of ours.
Today, many churches steer clear of teaching the end times message due to the wildly varied understandings of the book of Revelation. In the absence of sound teaching, Christians are turning to conspiratorial media and prophecy-centered ministries who are more concerned with identifying the Antichrist than sharing the gospel. My mission is to share the complete end times message in the manner in which it was intended—to bring glory and honor to God.
Undivided was completed in 2022. As excited as I am to share this teaching with you, it's a bit heartbreaking to know that there's such a great need for it. In America, social and political values are strongly defended. Unfortunately, many of our values are the products of lies and misinformation spread by those whose hatred for our government has birthed some very destructive agendas. As our arguments with each other over these values becomes increasingly heated, our directive as followers of Jesus Christ to be undivided in our love one another is becoming lost in the fold.
Not being a very political person, I was unsure of how effective I might be at tackling this subject. Now that I've completed the book, I realize how importance it was for me to be on the outside looking in with no agenda but to love those on both sides of each argument I present. Even non-Christians may find this book to be of tremendous value.
I'm not just a Bible teacher, I'm a Bible nerd. To me, crunching the many numbers in Scripture is absolute bliss. But it's a worthless effort if our motive is anything but drawing near to God. With all the conspiratorial books out there about the end times, one might expect this book to be focused upon all the dark earth-shattering events that God has planned for this world. While they're in there, I made a huge effort to make this book a joy to read.
I've included a focus upon the identity of the antichrist, which is fleshed out in amazing detail. But I wanted to add a greater emphasis upon who God is. While I present plenty of evidence that we are indeed living in the end times, our motive to seek Him cannot be that we're running out of time. Jesus didn't just arrive at the last minute. He's been present since the world began.
This book serves as a wake-up call for all who call themselves Christian. It's the wake-up call God gave me before I surrendered to Him. In it, you'll read about my testimony and how I was once part of a group of people who believe that salvation is achieved rather than received. Members of this group are still out there and my heart goes out to them all.
Can you imagine going to church for twenty plus years, only to learn that you had never worshipped God even once? This was me. Because I didn't know Him, it was impossible for me to love Him. And worshipping Him was out of the question! After my baptism, I thought I had done everything I needed to do. I didn't have a heart that was driven to seek Him, so I didn't. God, however, was not going to let me off that easy. If you identify as a Christian, this message may be your own wake-up call!
